Terms & Conditions
The following terms and conditions apply to all “Deliver My Order” services; small, medium, large, long and recycling item(s).
Deliver My Order also known as “Delivermo”, “DMO” is operated/ is a trading name under JESENT LTD and is available from anywhere in Shrewsbury “up to 10 mile radius from Shrewsbury , Shropshire centre (SY1)”.
Delivermo reserves the right to amend the Participating area at any time, see radius map for current area covered and if your collect/ deliver location falls within this area.
Delivermo is not VAT registered, so all prices are inclusive of VAT.
Delivermo is available daily during the time/ date slots clearly shown in the booking pages, these can be altered/ amended at anytime by delivermo due to seasonal weather conditions, staff issues, unexpected circumstances e.g. traffic, road closers, localised flooding, vehicle issues.
Delivery times are subject to availability and are estimates within the time slot you have chosen for the size of item(s). Once your item(s) have been collected and loaded- more than likely close to the start time of your delivermo slot you have chosen, we can then give you a more accurate update on when delivermo will deliver you item(s) within the 1hr small, 1hr15mins medium or 1.5hr large item(s) slot you have chosen depending on the size and weight of your item(s). Traffic and weather conditions will determine these timings.
The size/ weight/ price options available by delivermo are connected to the driver/ average miles of running costs for our vehicles, time to get to the collection location, time spent handling/ loading/ sorting your item(s) at sites- resolve any issues and then plot a route/ drive to the delivery location and then the unloading of your item(s)- as this is a unique service we have tried to provide an accurate and fare price point for each service we provide.
Our delivermo prices are in constant evaluation with vehicle fuel and running costs being the main factors in pricing and we endeavour to keep them fare and sustainable.
At delivermo we will try to guarantee that your order will be delivered within the stated time/ date slot you have chosen (that is the concept/ unique service that delivermo are aiming to provide in the first place), but as you (the customer) are aware of, sometimes “unexpected/ unforeseen circumstances” do happen- it is a fact of life unfortunately, so if this is the case, one of our delivermo drivers/ staff will certainly let you know ASAP (as soon as possible) on the issue and when your item(s) will be collected/ delivered. Delivermo will contact you using the mobile number you provided when you placed your booking in the event it becomes aware of any issue preventing collection/ delivery of your order. Our sincere apologies are given if the above actually happens.
Should you change your mind and no longer want the item(s) to be collected/ delivered please contact us ASAP (as soon as possible) and we can help sort the refund (minus £5 admin fee off original price paid) or rearrange another delivermo date and time slot.
You will need to ensure that someone is available at the delivery address within your chosen date/ time slot to accept the delivery.
If no one is available, your item(s) will be stored at our depot until further instructions, there is an hourly storage charge for this of £10 hour, so PLEASE make sure you or someone is available to accept the delivery.
We can then help arrange another date/ time slot or you can collect from our Shrewsbury depot once “payment” has been made for your stored item(s) that have been safely stored whilst you were not available for delivery. We will send a payment link via text message or email, please follow link and make payment thank you. We can then release your item(s).
The mobile phone number confirmed when placing your order will be used to keep you posted on your delivermo booking and in the event we need to contact you. Your contact number will not be shared with any 3rd party companies.
Delivermo is available for select item(s)/ sizes and weights only, as detailed in the Book now section/ more info section of the delivermo website, and are subject to availability.
Products excluded include: (i) all products weighing in excess of each service chosen from our booking list, ideally your item(s) is/are split into 25kg bags/ boxes weight for safe handling of your item(s), (ii) all age-restricted products, (iii) any hazardous items- liquid fuel- gas, petrol, diesel, chemicals, and (iiii) all products with dimensions in excess of their chosen criteria service.
As long as 1 x delivermo deliver driver can load your item safely by himself, we will have a use of a trolley, then we can except many items, please be thoughtful and considerate in your chosen item(s) to be collected and delivered, any questions please don’t hesitate to contact the delivermo team with size/ weight questions and we will do our best to assist and answer your questions.
Once a booking(s) has been placed for delivermo you will receive a notification via email/ text/ wattsapp confirming it has been accepted. Any questions we will contact you via email, text, wattsapp or phonecall.
When your item(s) have been collected you will then receive a notification message with a more up to date arrival time.
Use of personal data received in the course of delivermo will be in accordance with delivermo Privacy Policy, see Privacy policy for further details.
By using delivermo, you consent to delivermo contacting you for the purpose of obtaining feedback on your experience. You may contact our Customer Services team at any time for any queries concerning your booking, or to provide feedback on delivermo.
Delivermo, its parent company- JESENT LTD, affiliates, directors, officers, employees or agents shall not be responsible or liable to compensate for any loss, damage (including without limitation loss of profit or reputation, lost, interrupted, or unavailable network service or other connections, or any special, indirect, or consequential loss), also damage to property or vehicles or person(s) at collection or delivery locations occurring as a result of delivermo or any delays in delivermo services. Your statutory rights are not affected. Delivermo is governed by English law, and the Courts of England will have exclusive jurisdiction.
Delivermo reserves the right to revise and amend these terms and conditions from time to time.
